The only thing i don't like about the film is

they didn't have winnie pouring her bottle of water over the frog..that for me was the best bit out the entire book. Yes they changed things in the film, winnie's age for example but i was just WAITING on that moment and it never happened =( It felt so selfless of winnie.. it just put my stomach in knots, i rrealllyyy wanted to see it!

Winnie pours a bottle of water on the frog and because they can absorb water through their skin it lives forever.

Cynical much? I think it's sweet.

Well she pours it over the frog in the book because the frog is in danger. In the film there is no danger.
And I am kinda glad she didn't do it in the film. There she is, making the decision whether to be immortal or not. Ultimately she chooses not. It would seem off that she came to Tucks way of thinking (everything in the cycle of life), only to go against this by giving a frog immortality, thus taking away it's cycle. Like, she doesn't want it for herself, yet she's placing it onto another living thing.

I know what you mean. I read the book years before I saw the film, and that was one of the few things I remembered outside of the basic story line, and they even showed a frog near the beginning of the movie, so I really thought they would include that, only they didn't. :( Oh, well. It's still a good movie.
