Waste of time

I am glad that I saw this on cable and not at the theater. If it was in theaters then I want hollywood to give me shot at making movies- I must be qualified, I am a carpenter.
I have read on here that some people think this was an excellent story and a great Sci-Fi movie and that anyone who doesn't see the beauty in this piece must not be a Sci-Fi fan. I disagree. I watch a lot of independent films that are excellent, and it's because they have good writing, good acting, good direction, and very good editing. This film has none of those. The camera work was fair, the score was decent but other than that it looked like a 7th grader wrote, directed, and edited this piece. How this made it to the screen is beyond me.
I love discovering a gem of a movie that's not mainstream and often do, but unfortunately this one was just not one of those.
