Telemann Ouverture (suite) for Flute & Strings

There is one theme that caught my ear with its familiarity, and it's at the beginning and again in other parts of the film.

It's the same theme used throughout "The Year of Living Dangerously," and it's the song named L'Enfant and was played by Vangelis in that film. Don't know if Vangelis is the composer of this haunting tune or just someone who played it.
