So Angry

I am not Korean, but I am in love with Korean cinema, and am quite convinced it far surpasses the tripe from Hollywood. While searching for additional Korean films to get, I ran across this one, which I see is highly recommended. However, and this is the angry part, I've seen the freakn' remake, not knowing it was one. *#&@?^. This totally infuriates me, but is my own stupid fault. I am now banning myself from ever watching a so-called American film again, without first positively verifying that S. Korea hasn't already produced the original.

"Do you know what's really scary? You want to forget something. Totally wipe it off your mind. But you never can. It can't go away, you see. And... and it follows you around like a ghost."

Can you be even more immature? Who cares if it's a remake or not. If you prefer the original, by all means, enjoy it. The Korean producers are laughing right now for cashing in on the rights for the movie.

The remake was better. This one was pure sap. What made *me* angry was 1.5 hours of schmaltzy piano music.
