besides some other things is, that at the end, lucy is friend with Bobby. At the beginning of the date i thought "oh god what an *beep*" but nearly at the end he showed how he really is, I hoped that they'll become friends, and it happend.

shareI too really liked that Bobby was at the wedding as a friend. It would have been totally cheesy and unrealistic if all the other dates had suddenly appeared at the wedding, but it was realistic that some people you date become friends while most you never see again. (Plus there's just something special about Anthony La Paglia :you gotta see him in Besty's Wedding if you haven't already!)
One of the little details in the film I really liked was when Barry went to Lucy's parents place to return the shirt and to ask for a loan of the home movies and when he went in the door the father was saying "It's Barry." and you could hear the mother saying, "I love Barry!"
I thought that was sweet too. It was nice to see how Lucy had to get rid of her prejudices and started respecting this man who was quite the opposite from her and even started liking him for how he was. Despite some ususual habits (*rolleyes*) he was a good man.

i think i would've liked to see doug at the wedding also, i like to think that their little fling ended on good terms too... but they were the only 2 i expected there.

I love it how Monica Potter can't keep a straight face when she's with Anthony LaPaglia. I wonder if that was scripted or they just decided to keep those moments in the movie.
I noticed that too. It's hard to tell if it was scripted.
Also when she's in her childhood room with Barry, she seems to be laughing as they kiss. I dunno if it was a second take or whatever. He face is kinda hidden by the back of his head but she's got a huge grin on.
I'd love to see the out takes from the film to see if that's what had happened.
