People Don't Talk Like That...

This was available on Netflix and I like Stephen and Natasha so I gave it a chance. The cinematography was pretty impressive at the start (and throughout the film) so I thought it was going to be a good heist film. But then the characters started to talk and I started to smile and then chuckle and then laugh out loud. This was not a comedy so I don't know why I'm laughing. Then I realize the characters were just so abnormal and nobody talks like that. Everyone has a deep throaty voice as if they are trying to sound so cool that it comes across as weird. Stephen and Natasha had no chemistry whatsoever. She's taller than him and he's a decent looking guy, but next to her, he's puny looking. Again, I appreciate good cinematography so I watched it all the way through, but dialogue and characters were so comical and cartoony. This writer is not in touch with people. No one seemed scared in this film, no one ever appeared worried, no one really cared for each other, just lots of fluff and more fluff. So in conclusion, watch it for the cinematography but not the story.
