Selena doesnt sing that song. In fact, Im pretty sure she wasnt even singing it on Hannah Montana. That song was written and recorded by an artist im unaware of back in the day. They use it in alot of movies, including The Princess Diaries, when Mandy Moore sings it at the Beach Bash. Its a popular song used in Disney alot. Selena was lip syncing to the original version of the song, im pretty sure. It wasnt even her voice.
so whenever you hear that song, its not selena singing it. Its actually Julie Griffin I believe. The song was also in Little Miss Sunshine.
so. selena did not sing or write that song, and i doubt that was her voice singing it on Hannah Montana.

shareNot sure if other people told you this...but Mandy Moore doesn't sing it in Princess Diaries. It's "Stupid Cupid" that she sings. And she does actually sing it.
Selena gomez doesn't sing it in HM, but she DOES sing. So I donno why they had her lip sync.
Selena Gomez, never sung that song on HM, they just said she did. It's a song from the 80's i believe.

Actually the song was sung by Julie Griffin. Selena never sang it on HM. If you listen closely to the scene in Get A Clue when there picking out outfits it is the same exact version.
