Where do you think the movies went bad? If at all?

reply

ALL THE MOVIES IN 2005 SUCKED EXCEPT TWITCHES!

reply

Not everything made since then has been THAT bad! Some things that come to my mind are "Full Court Miracle" "Scream Team" and "Read It and Weep". Other than that yeah everything really did carry the cheesy Disney trademark which they really need to get rid of and start putting on more sensible and GOOD Disney movies such as "Susy Q" "Escape To Witch Mountain"(Erik Von Detten version) and many others that were made before the 2000's!

reply

High School Musical sucks so much...I tried to give it a chance but its just too much.

reply

what do the astericks mean, that they weren't good? because then i'd have to disagree with some of them. but most of them after get a clue were bad, with a few minor exceptions.

Go make yourself a dang quesadilla.

reply

Wait, what do you mean? Who wrote anything about "astericks"? I think the only thin I spelled wrong was putting "dwonhill" instead of "downhill"

I may be dumb, but at least I ain't a cripple. Oh...damn.

reply

no when you wrote the whole list out you starred a few movies with an asterisk. i was just curious what they meant.

Go make yourself a dang quesadilla.

reply

I dunno, actually. I just copied that list from somewhere. Oh well, if an asterisk's there it's not of any consequence.

reply

haha okay i was just wondering if you thought that those were the exceptions, and that they were bad BEFORE get a clue. because i loved halloweentown and rip girls and a few others

High School Musical and Wendy Wu both sucked! Loved Stuck in the Suburbs though <3

reply

Am I the only one who enjoyed Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-off? Lol, I agree with you, the channel is completely unwatchable nowadays, I forgot all the good movies that came previous to this piece of...

reply

Pixel Perfect was awful and High School Musical was only decent at best. The Cheetah Girls movies were good, mostly the second one.

reply

it started with cadet kelly.

reply

If anyone is still interested then the asteriks (sp?) mean that they were released on DVD or Video.... the list was copied of wikipedia , thats how i know

Anyone who has high expectations of Disney Movies is going to be disappointed at some point.

I mean really, you are watching the Disney channel! You either have to be under 13 or able to actually stop taking yourself so dam seriously for a couple of hours to enjoy these movies.

I really pity anyone who can't do that.

reply

It'd be cool to have a channel with just some of the more out-of-date movies. I mean, all you can watch anymore is Twitches (hate it. completely ruined the books. OMG. horrid), HSM, HSM2, Wendy Wu, Stuck in the Suburbs (decent), and such. Anything older than about 2004 is obscure. I loved A Ring Of Endless Light. You never see it. Rip Girls? Where'd that go? Loved Scream Team and they don't even show it at Halloween anymore! Pixel Perfect isn't ever on. Motocrossed was really cool. I swear, half the movies before 2001 I haven't seen in ages!! Bring back the good movies!!

3. Tru Confessions (April 5, 2002)

*sighs* that was a good movie, that used to get reasonable airplay like 3/4 years ago *shrugs* I actually had a wide variety of feelings when I used to see that one on. Probably would again if I saw it.

This particular movie wasn't soo bad and I like Ian Gomez (as a actor, he was in the Norm Show!!! Norm MacDonald is great) and Lohan isn't all cracked out in this one. So she looks and acts good.

I would agree for the most part but your statement might be a bit unfair. I liked Get a Clue btw and thought it was entertaining. There are 4 movies on your list that i dont think qualify as horrible movies: Even Stevens Movie, Tiger Cruise, Cow Belles, and like it or hate it High School Musical made a TON of money and was the most watched DCOM movie in HISTORY! Im not saying it was a great movie, but a massive succsess!

reply

I don't agree!!! A ton of movies before Get a Clue sucked ass!!! The thirteenth year was the stupidest movie ever and THAT is where the spiral started... but I don't think you can just say that there was a huge crash and everything afterwards was bad, because sometimes Disney makes their stupid movies, and sometimes they make their good ones. But if there is ANY spiral, it started with that retarded mer-man movie.

reply

i wish they would play some of the older movies again now its just high school musical and cheetah girls. what about the old movies like horse sense, smart house , the color of friendship (they only play that during Black History month and usually only once or twice), hounded was pretty good, as was Tru Confessions, i loved ready to run and the other me. I haven't seen Tiger Cruise in a while either. And why don't they play the Scream Team anymore around Halloween? Would it seriously kill them to not play High school musical for a week and play just some of the older stuff?

reply

[deleted]

i believe that was Flash.

believe half of what you see and nothing you see.

reply

I liked "Pixel Perfect" that wasnt that bad

reply

The downward spiral started in 2004 with Pixel Perfect, [i]Cheetah Girls 2[i/] was the only good DCOM that came out after that.

I loved all 3 HSM movies. Not sure why there is so much hate towards them. Seems like anything that gets cooed over by tween girls (Justin Bieber?) is automatically put down by this cynical vocal minority.
