It's NEVER a WOMAN'S fault, right?
In my recollection, talk shows and reality based shows that have a female lead have always lent themselves to bias against men beyond belief. Divorce Court is another such show.
Certainly, I am compelled to watch Divorce Court so that I can marvel at how base and degenerated the whole world, across the board, has become. I’m particularly intrigued at how cosmopolitan the ignorance is. All ethnicities have the same problems and that’s what keeps me watching.
The episode that inspired this thread involved a twenty-four year old man, his wife and his lover. The mistress had a child by the man before he married his wife and she was very aware of that. When the couple had problems and would separate, however, he would go see the other girl and, ultimately, impregnate her.
The women had both been pregnant at the same time during one of their pregnancies from him. In total he had two children by his wife and three by the ex-girlfriend/mistress.
What I can’t stand on this show, and other female lead shows, is that men are degraded for various behaviors that women openly “fall” for. Judge Ephriam addressed the women about how low their self-esteem was in regards to the man in the beginning. The rest of the show, however, was the dog-the-man show.
What I want to scream from the mountaintop to ALL this show, all shows and the world is this: WOMEN…if you DON’T want to get pregnant, than JUST - SAY - NO!
How do the women participating on these shows get pregnant by the men involved? They CHOSE to have sex, right? They CHOSE to run the risk of pregnancy by using or NOT forcing the male to wear protection, RIGHT!? More importantly, TO ME, is that the women don’t PROTECT THEMSELVES ANYWAY, RIGHT!? And, most importantly, they CHOSE to have sex because they WANTED IT, TOO, DAMNIT!
There are absolutely NO excuses for this. We’ve gone from having short discussions about sex in “Health Class” back in my time to openly talking about sex, “alternate lifestyles” and giving away “protection” to go experiment with sexuality in the laboratory of life.
In our time, whether we want to be or not, we are ALL exposed to the truth about gender practices, ploys, scams, cons, etc. Even though there isn’t an adult woman alive that doesn’t “know better” than to deal with certain men, they do anyway. But the men are the one’s ridiculed for a woman’s willingness to be involved with the man…like a moth to a flame.
I’m not condoning the domestic violence issues that present themselves. I’m just tired of men being the only ones blamed for pregnancy. The AIDS epidemic is over twenty years old. Condoms, “the pill”, and other contraception is available for FREE at school, clinics and even church. “The Sponge” is back and female condoms are the BOMB, they go unused. How, and WHY, is it JUST a man’s responsibility to PROTECT THEM B O T H!!!???
So, WOMEN, quit blaming men for YOU getting YOURSELF pregnant. DON’T have sex! If you do, protect YOURSELF in spite of the condom.
