The opening origin story was creepy and the boy being stalked by the tooth fairy in his house was very atmospheric and well done, but after that it is dreadful. It's a shame they couldn't build off that opening momentum. 4.5/10

I felt the same when I watched it (back in 2003). It was scary as hell for the first scene, then later it just becomes ridiculous.

That scene in the bedroom is very memorable to me. So creepy.
