I think that they should bring back the "Talking to Americans" bit. It's so funny and it's also very true. I was on an exchange with the RCAF (When some USAF members and RCAF members exchange) in Kentucky, and I actually tried some of the lines Rick Mercer used and nobody knew a thing about Canada! Don't take me wrong, I know many Americans know a lot about Canada, but I had a whole air force base convinced that I lived in an igloo and actually got everyone on base to sign a petition for the Great Polar Bear Slaughter in Toronto. Just having fun, and I know Americans will trash me for this, but it was great while it lasted.

i know! Rick should definately make another one! But still, its almost unnerving about how little some of them know of Canada....it's pretty disgusting. And what's strange is that i know that its all real, because i asked my cousins who live in LA who the prime minister was, and they were like "Whatever, who cares!"

What's more disgusting is that many Americans don't know anything about their own country but then again many Canadians don't know anything about their own country either. I love my best friend but she doesn't even know who our prime minister is and she's not alone.... I know many like this.

As if there really is a need to know about the United States as well? Oh and look the way your own country executes your news before criticising ours.

american news is made by advertising companies who sensationalise everything
