My review of the thing

I am an horror fan, it dosen't matter how cheesy it can be, i will usually want to see it. I saw much of the 80s and 90s horror flicks, even tought i was kid back in the 80, i rented them later , early 2000 or so. I saw hundreds of horror flick so i have a lot of stuff to compare.

Im usually easy pleased when it comes to slasher, as long as the deaths are brutal, i don't care much about the story or so. So lets see what this one have in store...

I got my copy in a pawnshop, they have a lot of DVDs usually pretty cheap, so it costed me 5$. Not even a french track, wich is pretty rare for DVD in quebec(i speak french as first language) but hey who cares, im billingual so well...

What attracked me of this movie? Slasher style, hot chicks, and first time i saw one shot in a snow mountain. So overall i was satisfy for a 5$ buy but i think the movie could have been so much better. First problem was the bad acting of some characters, or maybe was it just how they where wroted. I mean Skyler and Kirk reaction when dying where so off situation i was like "WTF", you can't kill me because im a virgin? I mean seriously...? Anyway. Some others where ok... I hoped that you would see Kimberly died, she was the mean b*tch all movie long and basically you see her injured later, but you don't see her get stab or you don't see her really die. Overall the Deaths where average, maybe it come from a too low budget, something that plague the Slashers since forever. Some shot where easy to be believable, but they at least tried to get some originality so that was good. Pyke's come back was terrible tought because of how she was looking dead. She seemed to have a large hole in the forehead...and her eyes where open like she was dead...

Every Slasher have a nude scene, its like a rule, and this one obey that. The girl getting nude was cute, but like most people i would have want to see Kimberly naked, and its mostly because there is just way too much teasing with her(shower, batthub, even fake sex) so well i was disapointed by that...

As for the Killer, Micheal Myers type of guy, not speaking, wearing a mask, fit the concept pretty well, but it was kind of easy to know who it would be.

But overall a good time and i wasen't bored, wich is a good point when it comes to low budget
