'You fellas aint headin' up to the rocky summit now are ye?

This is possibily one of the most stereotypical things to be said in a horror film!
Stop off at a petrol station or bar and you get an old man who says something along the lines of "you aint headin up there are ye?"

Really made me laugh as we'd second guessed it was going to be said.

I only got that in Blairwitch. But yeah, it sounds familiar.

It's always in those cheap B-horror movies etc. I'm sure if there was a segment before Evil Dead and they went to a gas station or soemthing, they'd probably see a guy saying, "you're not gonig to that forest are ye?"

Either that or someone asks for directions and is greeted by ten minutes of complete silence and hostile stares before someone at the gas station/convenience store/diner finally says "You kids don't want to go up there. That place is dangerous." or something along those lines. But the kids never listen, with the end result being that everybody dies in very graphic fashion (except the Final Girl, of course..) <G>
