Why won't they play this on Disney Channel anymore?

This movie is seriously my favorite disney channel movie and all they do now is play like the same five movies every week. When will the play this again?

Maybe Disney Channel will show this film for an Earth Day promotion.

Disney Channel preemption that film on Earth Day 2008 to make way for "Johnny Kapahaula: Back on Board". If you want Disney Channel to reair its original movie, "A Ring of Endless Light", please let me know, OK?

Because the Disney Channel has gone to crap now that it's an ABC conglomerate. They hardly show anything that is of the quality we would have expected of it 10 years ago when there were actually Disneys involved in Disney. There is not one single Disney left in the Disney company they have all sold out to ABC. Even Roy finally got fed up with what Walt's work had been reduced and left the company entirely.

yeah disney channel really sucks....their best movies they never show anymore, and crappy movies like high school musical and stuff like that are playing all the time. i dont know what kids see in that crap but its so annoying i cant even stand to watch it when my cousins do.

omg i know,the movies now r definitely stupid,pointless,talentless,and sometimes inappropriate.not just the movies but the shows too
and the same ppl r in every thing!all u see is mitchell musso,jonas bros,miley,emily,demi,selena,vanessa,and the list continues.i loved the old disney when they used ppl that not alot of ppl knew.and they had REAL talent.
their not giving anyone else a chance to act
and wuts with everything being a musical???
and they used to show a dcom or at least a movie,every night at 8.wut happened to that?

There's gotta be some way for Disney Channel to air this! They last aired it in July 2006 or so. The next airing for that film will be when?

This movie is actually playing now. I doubt anyone is on the boards now but yeah, it seems Disney only shows its good classic movies at ridiculous times on the weekend. Like they played the Famous Jett Jackson movie two weeks ago at 3 in the morning. But yeah, just thought I'd let everyone know.

Haha, I'm watching it, too. They're showing the older DCOMs now but they're on so late. I'm taping some of them. It's too early/late to be up watching at 3. I have DirecTV so I can watch east or west. I love this movie.

3am all time. I'm on the East coast, so when it's on on the West coast, it's going to be 6am where I live.

I'm watching it! I'm almost tempted to watch it when it comes on Disney West at 3am too, just like I did last week when I watched The Luck of the Irish. I'm slightly addicted to Ryan Merriman lol :)
