Nigel Thornberry is one of the best characters in WT, and all the better for being understated. Also, one of Tim Curry's best voices - I bet it was a lot of fun to do.
And isn't he one of the best dads ever? All the better for not using grand gestures and over affectionate speeches.
Kill the spare
I just love how he is so oblivious to everything about his family. I especially love it when he sides with Eliza when she gets into trouble for doing something stupid! :)
Then there are his serious moments, which to this day I can't take him very seriously. I just can't get past his bunny slippers! :) What an awesome guy he is.
I love Nigel as well, probably my favourite character in the show and in the movie. I may be biased, as Tim Curry voices him and I just love him.
