Region 1 Version is Now Available

A region 1 version with English subtitles has just been released for North America. I have already purchased and viewed it. I didn't know what to expect because of the mixed comments I have read and recieved but I really enjoyed it. No, it's not one of the best movies I have ever seen, but it is still well made, and worth watching. I do recommend it. I don't know if you will be able to rent it, but if you google in Polish movies, or Polish film distributors you should have no trouble locating a place to purchase it. I got mine for $14.95.

Hi,

Please excuse if this is a duplication. I tried a couple of days ago, but I don't see my post here.

I was just wondering where you did find your copy of QUO VADIS. I tried the searches you recommended and found the DVD only at one place in Canada and for a good deal more than you paid. Can you help?

Glad to help. You can purchase this film through mge.tv
They are a Polish film distributor in California. They are also very good about shipping orders quickly. I usually get my ordered films from them in about 4 days.

I am not Polish, but after seeing a film called Sara I bcame a Boguslaw Linda fan. Linda is outstanding in Quo Vadis. I think you will like the film.

mge.tv looked most likely to me, but I can't search up the title at the site. Perhaps they are out of stock or something. With your encouragement I will keep trying.

I just logged on to mge.tv and went through their catalog and you're right, Quo Vadis seems to have been removed. I don't know why. Perhaps they are out of stock, or perhaps there is a problem on the business end, maybe something to do with copyright, or customs, ect. This movie had only been available for about a month. If I were you, I'd either go back on the site and send them an e-mail asking about the availability, or I would contact them by phone. I have communicated with them by both e-mail and phone. They are very prompt to answer e-mail and they are very helpful and pleasant when I have contacted them on the phone.

Well, I hope you are able to obtain a copy.I'm glad I was able to aquire mine when I did.

Check eBay !
I got it from there in PAL version and with both French and English subtitles. This is a good quality movie.
