Forgive me this is slightly off topic. I'm looking for a movie that I believe was called "How to build a monster". In the movie an old man fought a monster and saved a town every year for thirty or more years. Everyone would forget that the battle ever happened he finally convinced his grandson to take his place.

I've watched this movie on cable atleast three times on late night cable but I'm never able to see the end of it. At the last 10 minutes of the movie the station jumps to paid programming jewelry television and I never seethe end. Its infuriating. I've been trying to find the film so I can finally watch the last ten minutes.

Can anyone help? Have you seen this movie and know where I can get a copy?

I don't think it is called "How to Build a Monster". I think the movie is you're talking about is about an old guy who has the role of fighting monsters every so often that turns out to be predictable like a science fiction movie (every time). He finally hands the role to his grandson (I believe).
