couldn't find real twins???

I never understood why the producers couldnt' find a set of real twins to play in this movie. Heather and Heidi burge are identical twins. are you telling me that when audition time came no identical twins showed up to casting call. i'm sure there are plenty of very tall blonde twins out there who are actresses who could've played in this movie.

i think they are twins becuase the same exact height

They're not twins. They're not even related. One actress had to get extentions and one had to have her shoes raised or something like that. You can tell they're not identical cuz their facial features are the same.

i think that the producers would have rather had two girls who would eventually resemble identical twins that could act than find actual identical twins that couldn't act. i wouldn't doubt that twins didn't audition; they probably didn't have the talent the producers were looking for.

there are plenty of twins in hollywood that can act. if you look at alot of movies often times a single child's role is played by twins, much like what the olsen sisters did for the role of michelle tanner. this is so directors can get around child labor laws by using one kid for the several hours they are allowed to work and then using the other after the first one has worked enough. Jill Hennessy started her career with her identical twin sister when they were children. when they got older jill went on to become a full time actress and her sister didn't. they used a set of real twins to play on that stupid tv show "sweet valley high". those girls were good actors. and there are a few other blond twin actresses i remember seeing but i'm not good with names.

neither of these girls had much acting experience before this movie was filmed. and personally they didn't act very well in this movie. so if the producers were going to use actresses with very limited experience that couldnt' act they might as well have gotten a real set of twins.

i know one of you said 'why couldn't they casted the olsen twins.' well, if you see mary-kate and ashley are 5'2 and 5'3. they would needed major lifts in their shoes to make them look 6'0. but i think most definitely they could have found sisters who are like a year or two apart but look like twins to potray the burge twins.

I know. That's so cheep that they couldn't find real twins. But I think that the people that they hired ended up being pretty good. Even though the movie is cheesy, I still like it. :)

Yeah, I know, but I think they still looked pretty similar...even if they weren't related.

Hey, why couldn't they build a robot of one of the girls?

I remember something that they couldn't get blonde teenage twins at 14.
That is unlikely. But in a way think about it. THey not only needed twins but twins that looked like the Burge sisters.

Twins
Blue Eyes
6ft tall
teenage
blonde
light skinned

you might aswell pick the Burge sisters themselves.

I'm a twin and my sister and I don't mind that they didn't use real twins.
