i have NO clue whatsoever went on in the end.

what did the twins and paulo do?
Midway through the plot they put out a rumor that they (Nolte and co.) are going to rob the casino safe. This rumor spread so well that the twins went to meet them. The twins explained that *they* are going to rob the safe via the "twin magic" (lol). Nolte rejected the plan as "ameteur but original".
Later on we see Paulo killing Said (I think that's his name) while another guy (Rami?) figured out Nolte's plans and told Roger (the cop). At this time Nolte knows his plan is probably *bleep* so he thought "screw it" and went to the casino to gamble (as planned).
Paulo, on the other hand, did not follow Nolte's suggestion to flee to Italy; but instead contacted the twins to go through with the plan to rob the bank (possibly paying back Nolte with the loot to make up for being a screwball). Anyhow, all the events take place in and around the casino: the twins robbing the safe, the guys robbing the paintings, Roger foiling the art heist, and Nolte having fun gambling.
So as it turned out, Nolte got lucky and won a fortune, the casino lost a fortune AND got robbed, while the art heist did not go at all... The twins, Paulo, and Nolte all got away.
Ohhhh...so that is what happened. Weird.
