How many people dp you suppose there are who do nothing but post on the IMDB all day long? I'd estimate that a good percentage of users here have no life to speak of. Watching this film earlier tonight made me wonder about many of the people I encounter here, and that there may indeed be a great many of these kinds of sadsacks moping around.

Films like this are made to further understanding and give insight into the human condition.
Some posters on this site seem to only see difference as a freak show.
The director of this movie presented his latest:'Scott Walker 30th Century Man'at the Sydney Film Festival this week.
Hundreds of us have been elated,educated,entertained and enhanced for the last 10 days ,sitting in the dark watching up to 10 films a day at the festival.
Whopee for the 'technically deviant lifestyle'.....although downunder we call it just plain life!

I am a bit surprised that people who dedicate their time to a single task are looked at as if they have no life. Compared to what? Fuzzy, what is a normal life? Why is your way of living superior to theirs? What gives you the right to diminish their view of how to live happy (ever after...). That is very offending in my humble opinion.
Put it the other way round. Do you like every aspect of your own way of living? Do you live your dream? Working 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, have a hobby or two, and a family - is that what you want? Is that the best you can think of? Or is it better to do whatever you'd like to do, being it a hippie at the burning man festival, a smalltime crook, a CEO of a multinational corporation, a guy who just watch movies the whole day long or a chap who just posts on IMDB because this delivers the most satisfaction?
Come on - get a life!
