A new appreciation for Bubba Ho-Tep

Spoilers aplenty.

I loved the movie when it came out and fourteen years later I seem to have a new appreciation for Bubba Ho-Tep. Must be related to growing old (I am a lot older now!)

It is a beautiful movie that has a charm to it that is difficult to explain. I mean how can a film about a resurrected Mummy, the King of Rock 'N' Roll (with a growth on his pecker) and a black JFK be so touching? (For those of you who haven't seen Bubba Ho-Tep rest assured it is more than the sum of its parts, MUCH more).

Anybody else rediscovered Bubba Ho-Tep?
