relationship between Jake and Sharon's character

Who knows!!!


The movie was like trying to solve a riddle wrapped in a enigma....

I don't know if there was any connection between them. But I do believe that when Jake told Campbell about the story of the boy caught in the tornado and seeing his mother swept up in it, when Sharon's character criticized Jake for telling the story, she obviously didn't know it had actually happened to him.
I used to be confused as to why he would tell such a story to Campbell, but I thought it might have been Jake's way of dealing with it. Telling it as a scary story might have made him feel less like it really happened to him.
