You know I was actually thinking that if petitions don't work to get the show to be continued....wellllll

Why not have a petition for the scripts to be released and have someone write a book on it...I absolutely love to read books and would like to see the show be continued but I honestly think that will never happen...So why not read it?!?!

I think it's a good idea anyways!

Or atleast have a petition for a movie to be made to tie up all the loose ends...

Hey kissmepretty, is there another site for an online petition
to bring Wolf Lake back into production? I tried the link and
it's no longer active. Today I'm watching a marathon of WL
on Sci-Fi, it's airing from 8AM-4PM.

Give it a break.
At this moment it is 9 years since the show was made.
Unless they'd jump in time all those years, it would look stupid if i.e. Ruby - the girlish Mia Kirshner - suddenly would look like a middle-age woman. Not to mention the teenage back then Mary Elizabeth Winston - Sophie - 16y.o. in the pilot and about 25-26 now?

Someone mentioned releasing (or writing) the scripts for the episodes that were never produced as a book(s).
That's a great idea IMHO.
Release the DVDs of all episodes, and bundle it with the book that continues from where the series left. That I'd buy.

I'd love to see the show back on television, but not on Sci-Fi. If anything it belongs more on Chiller. I know Sci-Fi originally had supernatural shows like Dark Shadows, but they've sort of changed genres and are gearing more towards the outer space crap. Chiller is becoming the old Sci-Fi. They have the old episodes of Wolf Lake, the 90s Dark Shadows, Millenium, Twin Peaks, Poltergeist: The Legacy, Friday 13th: The Series, etc.

Online petitions never work for anything. Their sole purpose is to harvest email addresses to be sold to spammers and advertisers. Second, the show's been off the air for 8 years and didn't ever have many viewers. It'll never be brought back. Move on.

The show was a financial failure. I love it too, but there's no reason for anyone to invest the time, money, and resources into creating an entire new season of a decade-old TV show because a few people signed an online petition.

It would be cool if they released the scripts, though, so that we could have some idea of where it was going.

Agreed, bringing it back at this point wouldn't make sense and considering the fate of some of the actors involved (2 died in their 30's and 1 with criminal charges) it's unlikely. But I wonder if the writers would be interested in doing a graphic novel series. O'bannon did with Farscape...
