I feel like the minority on this message board, but I really liked this movie. I laughed a lot, and thought the plot was pretty good, too. It's just a good family film. It's predictable, but that doesn't stop it from being fun to watch.
shareI'm with you on this, so you're not alone. God help me if I didn't like this movie because my 3 year old son has seen it, oh, about 10,000 times! It's his all-round favorite movie, and he's seen all the disney movies that exist! There are a few plot holes in it, but so what- it's a family movie, not Gone With the Wind! It's entertaining, fun, and has some pretty good lines that were well delivered. My husband and I still look at each other and say "Man, you really stink- Whew!" like Thunder Jack in the movie.
It seems some people just can't appreciate a movie for it's entertainment value- if it's not and award-winning thought-provoking deep movie then it sucks. I for one watch movies to be entertained, and I was entertained by Snow Dogs.

And many of those "thought-provoking deep" films get so far-fetched and weird trying to be creative that they become comedic. Snow Dogs delivered what it promised. If you sit down to watch a film about a black dentist from Miami inheriting sled dogs in Alaska and expect any deep meaning ... well, what can I say.
I loved the movie. Of course it's not a movie with some deeper meaning and it doesn't have to be. They made the movie to entertain people and make them laugh, and for me that is just what happened when I watched it.

Oh, come on! Snow Dogs wasn't that bad. If you want to be entertained and laugh at goofball situations for an hour and a half, Snow Dogs is a good movie. If you're a stuck up idiot who thinks movies are good on the basis of how many awards it wins, shut up. IMDB is for Movie FANS, not film jerks/nerds.
Hey, Titanic was one of the most successful films ever, and I thought it sucked and was completely boring. Snow Dogs isn't regarded as a good movie. I liked it.

I really enjoyed this movie. I saw it on tv twice and thought it was original, funny and sweet. Cuba Gooding was very funny and I liked the story and loved the dogs! Especially Nana!
This movie got too much crud from everyone and it really was sweet and enjoyable.

I thought the idea behind the movie is great but I thought the screenplay and the quality of the humour ruined it. If the original idea was handled dby someone other than Disney I think it could have been a great film.

I love this movie. It's a lighthearted romp that brings a smile to my face. It helps that I think huskies are gorgeous, and that I love dogs. Cuba Gooding, Jr. is delightful in this film. Really enjoyable new light comedy films are not that common. I have been a classic film buff for a long time, and I think that feel-good films have their place in cinema history. They should be judged on their own merits, not compared with films of a different category, such as "Ugetsu" or "Citizen Kane". I think that a film that makes the viewer feel good, is a good film.
