Overall this movie was fun, but was it just me that found the ending rather weak?
-We never know if he got the girl
-If I had 200 million dollar on my account I would be rather pissed if someone transfered them away, regardless if it was my dad who did it.
-And if I got it right the money didnt even end up where it should.
-weird about the cops showing up in the airplane AFTER the plane has taken off.
-What do you mean? of course he got the girl, but then he had to go back to France so he told Momo to look after her.
-Yes she was pissed when she found out, but Hubert knew if it was left with her she would of spent all of it in a matter of days.
-The money DID end up where it should, the guy behind the desk was Momo who transferred it to Hubert's account, not the bad guy's.
-Are you sure the plane has taken off?
Yes, in the end..the plane is off. But so what? This is movie for fun, not for realistisc stuff. It's some of the top, but that gives it just some of the fun that makes the movies fun!
shareWhat I found weak about the ending is his response to Yumi at the airport when she says (paraphrased) "I just found my father after 20 years and you're leaving me". He replies, don't worry, I'll be back in a month when you graduate".
He's been suspended from the French police for 2 months. He has no one to go back in France. He's previously lived in Japan. So it just doesn't make sense that he'd get straight on the plane and leave. Surely you'd stay a week to cement your relationship with your new daughter?
maybe he had things to take care in france maybe makeover is house with a room for is daughter and take care of legal issue the soundtrack is great the movie is a great action comedy
