Terrible movie

It was mediocre back then and it's mediocre now with some terrible moments of cheesiness. The only reason why it's seen more favorable now is because of the wave of early 2000's nostalgia. Ridiculous, the movie is a turd.

I do think the chemistry of the performers outshone and elevated the banality of Nickolas Spark..so it gave the film a little magic it otherwise wouldn't have had if you just judge by the story itself..
