How are people rating his so well. I thought this movie was awful. It was totally dragged on, the sub plots were not very developed. This movie was total rubish

Well I'd imagine people who rated it also read the novel. If you dIdn't read it, yes the film may seem bleak to you. But for those who developed a love for the novel enjoy seeing it brought to life by film. Personally i loved the film. The actors were exceptional and the storyline was met responsibly. honestly if you don't have a liking for love stories of any type this will be just another ordinary one to you.
Well... this movie literally changed my life. Looking back, it's got a lot of corny stuff, but I can't give it anything lower than a 10, due to the effect it had on my self esteem and priorities. If I never watched it, I'd probably still be a fake person, constantly trying to be "cool" and never getting the result I wanted anyway. Now I'm authentic, I can enjoy what I want without feeling insecure. I'm enjoying life a lot more than I would be if I was still chasing one stereotype or another.
