I know it's the 14 juillet or july 4 and all. So then why move such a big deal criminal on a day when no one can supervise what is going on cuz they're all at the big parade? And then when the big crime boss transfer does happen in the face of all commmon sense, why is there is no on-going communication etc. wene the rest of the operation is so high techy, almost balletic in its movements? Once they are trapped in the warehouse, why is the rest of the world, police or government HQ particularly, oblivious?
I'm either missing something crucial or the whole thing made no sense whatever.

At the beginning of the film you see ‘martial’ climbing to the top of the towers to disconnect the mobile phone receivers/transmitters. This is why the mobiles don’t work I think. In the factory the radio/phone gets shot out when they first break in so that’s why that’s doesn’t work. At least that’s the way I saw it.
