I am sure I remember reading in the scarborough evening news of a film with christina ricci that had been filmed in scarborough in north yorkshire in 2001 i think. Can anyone tell me if this was the film?

Part of it was filmed on Ramshill Road in an empty shop that they changed to look like a video store (I think) It was pretty cool, I had a flat over from where I could see what was going on at the time - thought this film was never gonna see the light of day.

I was in London with friends when this was filming in Trafalgar Square. We all vowed we would see it together, but it never had a big release. I remember how cool we thought it was that we were there on that day. Three young girls from Oklahoma, USA :)

As an old Scarborough Uni student, I know what you mean - Scarborough is a special little place. I lived at the end of the road where this film was shot - saw Christina filming and almost bumped into the guy (forget his name!) when he was strolling down Ramshill Road. Great to see them.
shareChristina filmed most of the park scenes in Hyde Park in early march at 6/7am before anyone was about, thats why the lighting and weather are so bad. I saw some of it being filmed.
