I don't know if this is true or not but I read a while ago that Maidan didn't play Run to the Hills for years. Is this true and if so why not? As althoguh its not their best song its pretty good so I was just curious. Thanks in advance.
shareIt is true, they hadn't played it for years. In fact they didn't even play it on the Brave New World tour, they added it to the end of the Rock in Rio set as a special 'extra' song for the huge crowd and for the DVD release. The reason they hadn't played it for years, is Blaze had trouble singing it. The song was written for a singer with a higher register then Blaze (i.e. Bruce), so they song got dropped from the set. Bruce is now back and as such so is Run to the Hills.

Blaze semed to have trouble singing anything written for Bruce. I've heard a bootleg of him singing The Trooper and it was so bad I felt embarrased for the guy.
shareBlaze isn't designed for Bruce's vocals. but Blaze still entertains me in his unique way. by the way, where did you get this bootleg of Blaze singing the trooper, i need a listen of it.
