Opening theme on the Soundtrack and in the film

I bought the soundtrack in 2002, when the film came out. It striked me that the version of the opening theme on the soundtrack is purely orchestral, while in the movie there is this heavy, cool beat joining in.

Why is that not on the soundtrack, does anyone got the track?

im really keen to buy the soundtrack,this is oneof my fave films and the compilation of music in it seems fantastic. i know what you mean about the theme song,i love the jazzy+beat. such a shame that not on the cd?how strange!
