Tell me more about George..

George, the stone-faced footman, was excellent and quite hilarious in every scene. It seems like the stone face and machine like precision on his job is just a facade on a man with a taste for the banal spoils that come with his job as a servant at a high class home. He never loses an opportunity to puff a smoke and finish off whatever drink was left on the masters' table. It seems like the director at some point wanted us to have him on the list of murder suspects. After all, he left everyone at the time when William was murdered, supposedly to get some more milk, and it took him really really long. I assume he just decided to take an informal break as he went for that milk.

Don't forget that he was in on every active gossip going on and I think he was gay, too. Didn't he appear that way to you? I liked him btw.

Hes one of my favorite characters. His contempt for his "masters" is almost palpable.

His dry "shall i fetch you a towel sir?" was absolutely hilarious

What sort of a gestapo officer are you, saying somebody is innocent?

Even Probert teased him about it! "We all know the very idea of service is offensive to you, George".
