Does anyone know the name of the piece of music that plays during the diamond heist scene?
To be more specific, the scene involves rebecca romijn-stamos stealing an a wardrobe covered in diamonds at the cannes film festival.
So, does anyone know the name of the song?
It is an original composition for the score of the movie, very closely inspired by Ravel's "Bolero". In fact, on the Femme Fatale soundtrack CD, the title of that track is "Bolerish".
Some might call it a "rip off" of Bolero, but I think it's a beautiful variation, and it fits the mood of the scene perfectly - much more elegant than the usual action/suspense music one would expect from a heist movie.
