Good - Yes, very!
Scary - ..... not really. It's more of a comedy set in a horror-movie sort of plot.
If you've ever seen any typical werewolf movie, it's not scary.

I like the answers that others have given. If you have doubts, looking for something really scary and such, I highly recommend that you watch it anyway. That's what happened to me. Then I found myself entranced and it's now my favorite werewolf movie. Quoting every line is fun. lol
