Solid questions. No wonder nobody has answered.

because the werewolves don't often operate as hand-to-hand combatants. the soldiers had actually been trained to fight. and they were doing so to survive. the werewolves are probably quite used to their prey being too scared to properly mount a defense. I have no idea about the metal car. but wasn't that their house? maybe they weren't eager to trash it.

In short - Cars and generators and houses don't have firearms and can't fight back.
The werewolves were being cautious so as to avoid getting *beep* up by these armed and trained squaddies, who had already proven themselves a threat.

It's a comedy and shouldn't be taken too seriously but I'll answer what i can

The house? Two possible answers
1. The wolves where outside in UK the exterior of a house is made of brick but the interior walls(stud partitions) that the soldiers broke through are just timber frames so it would be relatively easy fo make a hole as between the timber is just plasterboard and insulation.
2. It was their house and they didn't want to destroy it.

The fight was best part of the movie imo not to be taken too seriously, spoon was fighting for his life and throwing everything not nailed down at the werewolf although the werewolf is much stronger he/she is just an average person who has no combat experience I suspect if spoon fought the werewolf in human form he would kill him/her easily.

As for the werewolves being intelligent? Yes they have their human intelligence but we don't know anything about the people. so all we can say is they have human intelligence but people's intellect varies, they obviously have experience attacking people but they've probably never went against armed soldiers the only reason imo they took out the special forces at the start was because like ryan said "there was only supposed to be 1" and they may have assumed the werewolf would have animal intelligence not human. the special ops team expected to hunt 1 not be ambushed by an intelligent pack in the open.

Use suspension of disbelief.

They did it that way or there would be no movie, all these excuses other people are making are pretty silly.

Fact is this movie really shouldn't even have been about Werewolves as Werewolves had very little to do with it. It was mostly about the characters and the action scenes, which were good, but made no sense in a Werewolf film.

To me putting Werewolves into it was kinda stupid since as you say they could have just killed these guys any time they wanted to. They should have just been being hunted by some secret govt group or something.

Clawing through a car-They have enhanced claws and healing. Don't think too much about theirpshysiology,look how quickly they heal from being stabbed 20 times or being shot. There's probably some physical advantage to their claws,it wouldn't be unthinkable.

Not clawing through the house (ties inwith the intelligence) they can disable the car,and generator,can climb the walls tothe top bedroom. They know it's their house,they don't reall want to *beep* it up,who what intelligent animal wants to destroy it's abode once a month?

There seems to be a cockiness to the wolve possibly,they for meshow signs of understanding (the ccaptains werewolf,clearly tries throat *beep* cooper with the swrod instead of just killing him,I guess with the hysical advantage comes and ego,they can take the beating,knowing it doesn't affect them,as only silver can kill them,thus no matter what(spoon)does,he's going to get it.

I don't really think they're stupid,they know the captain will turn,so will the sarge and so will Megan,leaving 3 wolves in with 3/4 soldiers.it's simply a waitng game. In the mean time,they drain the team of it's ammo,they destroy the escape vehicles,have the team pined down,and are invulnerable almost to any.
