One thing that needs clarification.

The scene showing the RUC planting nail bombs on the young man on the back seat of the car strikes me as incredible. Did the RUC honestly think the public would believe the IRA wouldn't have removed incriminating evidence from the injured? By planting the devices they were in effect incriminating themselves.

Your's sincerely, General Joseph Liebgott

I heard that friends of that boy were quoted as saying "Don't you think that if he had any nail bombs on him, and if we were trying to get him to.the hospital, we would have taken them.off him?!" And supposedly his mom had said his jeans were so tight you could read the date on a piece of money in his pocket.
You couldn't put it past the RUC to plant bombs on innocent people. It's like the Guildford Four ("They produced my auntie Annie's washing up gloves like a rabbit out of a hat.") and my Godfather's nephew framed for the Canary Wharf bombing because he used the same paint as was used in the bombing--A kind of paint you could get anywhere, so I'm told.

And do you seriously think we can rely on everything as depicted in such a propaganda film as a matter of fact? (remember witnesses at the time were dominantly biased and unreliable Republicans, and any following inquiries are unlikely to make anything clearer)
