This film does fall in the fast chronology. Probably before the first one. But to add it to a fast marathon, do fast 1, 2, blt, 4, 5, then Tokyo.

I'm pretty sure it is the same Han. There never going to flat out say it though. It all fits. The reason he stopped smoking, running and criminal life, cars.
shareIt appears to be so. I think recently Lin confirmed it and Sung Kant says he "hopes so" when he was asked om Twitter if they are the same character. Han is my favorite character of Fast and the Furious but it seems he didn't truly learn from his high school mistakes after the events of Better Luck Tomorrow. Later in life he's still involved in crime and his scamming ways is what ultimately cost him his life. I'm just curious what happened to Daric and Ben since we know Virgil is pretty much done after botching up that attempted suicide.

That could work I guess Silent...up until you got to a 3-4 yr jump between 4 and 5. 5 Clearly picks up same day as getting Dom off the prison bus we see him on at the end of 4. The rest of the movie is them running while Hobbs is on their ass.
