Asian version of 'Very Bad Things'/'Meanstreets'

How is this an Asian version when the movie was made in the U.S.?
With AMERICAN actors? (of asian descent)

As I was watching it I thought "I bet the guys who made this watched Trainspotting a hundred times."

The OP probably meant an Asian-American version of "Very Bad Things".

I don't think this movie and Very Bad Things even compare

It's nothing like Very Bad Things, and I don't say that in a negative way... It's literally nothing like Very Bad Things, that was one of the best dark comedies of all time... BLT isn't even a dark comedy.

I don't really think you should make such a movie in America. In Asia, fine.
