I love this movie but how come Elijah and Rosario didn't kiss? I mean come on they were suppost to be married...

She thought he had been dead for 3 years. she was being lied to, would you just jump in and kiss someone who has been lying to you for 3 years?

It's pathetic. My screen name has more fun than I do.

I think they should have had just a small reuniting kiss...not a big makeout scene because that would have been a bit odd...I mean, I wouldnt have some big snog fest with a guy who I thought was dead for 3 years...

I really wanted Rosario and Edward to kiss when they were saying goodbye to each other. I mean, they DID fall in love with eacch other and were saying to each other that they'd never see the other anymore..

No chemistry... They were mis-matched actors - he seemed more like her kid brother. Has Elijah Wood EVER kissed a woman on screen?

Agreed.

Elijah Wood is a mediocre actor (at best), doesn't look Irish, and looks about 13 years old & gay. Zero chemistry with Rosario, zero chemistry with Ed Burns.

He was so miscast, it's scary. This might have been a great movie with just about anyone else in the role.

What was Brian Burns thinking? I'm truly stupified.
