Whoever this pretty gal Julie is did a great and witty movie. Having lived in Manhattan from 80-88, I was around so many strident I-don't-really-need-a-man types who went throught this same sorta transformation and came out realizing more less like her daddy says in the movie that "they keep geting in the way of themselves"

I doubt Miss Davis is a conservative but she has apparently learned that love matters and that she does need a man to feel complete. A good thing.
