Nick Chinlund

Nick Chinlund is the best thing in this film.

Amen to that. He's the only reason I bought the DVD. Had he not been in it, I likely wouldn't have given it the time of day.

I agree.

Lol, that says something about the movie, they should have worked to get that R rating instead of just cuss & have light sex scenes, the entire background music sucked & there was too much at times.

Yes, he was! Whenever I watch it, I fast forward to his parts. I don't have anything against the woman, it's just that I love the way this man does his thang!

Did any of yall listen to the commentary of this movie? Maybe it's me, but when I listened to the commentary, she hardly said anything about Nick. She was talking about everything and everyone else except Nick. Now, I have listened to a lot of DVD commentaries and the directors usually say-if not a lot at least a little) about each of the main characters. The only thing I recalled her saying was how great his eyes looked in one scene. Listen to the commentaries of Tears of the Sun and Training Day. Now the director Antoine Fuqua did not say a lot about Nick in Training Day, but he did recognize him a lot more than the director of this movie did (and Nick was a main character in this movie, while in training day he had a small part). I so hope I'm taking it the wrong way, but something just didn't seem right to me! If I did, please explain it to me.

I noticed that too. I was hoping she would talk more about Nick, as he was the reason I watched this move. But she barely mentioned him. I also got the feeling that the two did not get along too well on the set. There was one part of the commentary where she mentioned in one scene was taking a long time and they were kind of irritating each other. Perhaps their personalities clashed a bit, and she didn't mention Nick too much because she wanted to avoid talking about it.

Yes Ma'am. Let me get in line. He is fine, those eyes, that body, that voice. But it's not just his looks. There are a lot of good looking men out there - Brad Pitt, George Clooney, you know 'em. But it's another thing to be able to use your assets to charm women. That's what he's got. I like when she asked him not to kiss her, and he nonchalantly said, "I wasn't going to."
I'm telling you. The timing. Now I know some of that is the writing, but -- that's right! Keep the pursuit going! Drag it out!
He knew just how to use his eyes, the right time to smile. His timing had me replacing her with myself in those scenes!!
