One of the plans of the 1st series was that Brian and Kurt die, This would be an interesting idea had the first minutes of the episodes not been spent on the characters pissing on their graves. Then they introduce 2 more characters (forget their names) that are the exact same as Brian and Kurt.
shareI can't believe they even had the cheek to make another series if it was going to be this shocking, the other series' were great, but they've got rid of 4/5 guys, 3 PERMANENTLEY, totally dissapointed, they left the crap characters, excluding Bob.

sharedude chill it was a metaphore, they arent dead its just a way to get them out of the show so they dont have to do any writing, u actually hear lindsay say that matt has gone back to his wife. I agree that its lazy writing but dont worry. Back to the epsiode, i had mixed feelings about it. the new male characters were good, ewan was a little to perfect but i glad they mentioned he is an accidental pryotechnician takes some of the polish off him. damien seems funny as does Ben. they are no brian and Kurt but in ep 1 season 1 brian and kurt were not the show carrieers that they were last season. Give them time. Least liz is still in it, god why do i fancy her so much, its weird i just think she is proper Bo dear lord make someone have an affair with the liz. does anyone else think she is supa dupa fly? sorry back to the episode, by should be used less, his character became a little annoying and greating towards the end of the episode but generally i liked it, the series 3 box set is out on monday im gonna honour bri and kurt the best way i can by haveing a teachers mega marathon on monday sewries 1,2,3.

Soory, zoned out there. Damien and Ben were pretty funny, I walked out of the room at one point though and must have missed the scene that I had been laughing at for ages on the channel 4 adverts - Damien diving out the window.
But apart from that, there wasn't enough of a story to hold it together. And I miss Andrew Lincoln.
I thought it would be really poor without any of the original main cast, but series 4 has really surprised me. I've really enjoyed the new cast, and if you think they are Bryan and Kurt clones you need to pay more attention and be less eager to critisise. Since it's a different school though, it feels more like a spin-off than anything to me.
