What happend to teachers??

This used to be one of my favourite programmes on t.v. Series 1 and 2 were brilliant but it was all down hill from series 3. it was only just bearable. and whats the deal with series 4? its so crap. why did they kill off the only three characters keeping the show going? i'm annoyed!
