looking for info....

I really want to know something, i'm from greece, they don't have the series here and that's why i want to ask you guys something and PLEEEEASE answer: A friend of mine saw the show one night and she said it was something about a castle that belonged to two brothers. One of them was brutally killed by an axe and the other hung. She's never been out of the States but that castle reminds her of something and she wants to find it or at least find its name. Can any of you help? Any info accepted. Please, if you've seen that episode, answer!
