Does anyone know the name of the Island off Venice which was once a sanitarium or prison. It supposedly was a place of much torture and is supposed to be haunted. Im sure they did a segment on it in "Scariest places on Earth.

Lucedio was the monestary of evil monks that practiced black magic and worshiped Satan. Povelglia was the island off of the coast of Venice where they took plague victims. There was a doctor on the island that did horrific experimental surgeries, etc. on patients. Both places are haunted.
