What a piece of crap

I understand this was based on a story by a well known and usually talented writer. But this plays like a Twilight Zone episode. A long, frustrating, at times boring story with a hugely anticlimactic ending. I halfway expected The Stepford Wives to start showing up as the credits rolled.
I saw this on the STARZ cable channel and all I can say is if this made for TV was shown in theaters as any US TV movies are, I would demand my money back at the box office.
