Here's A Thought: Big-O OVA

Here's a thought: why doesn't Sunrise (the studio that created
Big-O) not just pull a Hellsing and recreate the series in 1 hour
OVA format. They could redo the first season easily with a vol. or
two and begin a whole new chapter so that fans can still get some
Big-O lovin'. So, am I on the right track or should Big-O just die?

Hey, I'd be down for anything that would continue the story, even if it meant re-buying part of it in a new form.

Yeah, any continuation sounds like a sexy idea to me.

Personally I think an OVA would distort the flow that the series had in it's natural form. Unlike some series where it's basically one 10 hour movie broken up by "to be continued"'s, Big O episodes actually had separate idea and story tracks. An OVA just couldn't do the ideas justice.

Now if the OVA's added on to the story(not sure how thats possible) and left everything else be, then it would be great.
