Live action film

I don't know if anything is coming up about it, but who would you cast for a live-action movie, no budget restrictions?

I know it's a little cheesy, but I think Christian Bale would be a pretty accurate Roger Smith if he lost some muscle, though I'd have to see him work his charm a little more. Plus, the whole batman thing kind of lends itself.

Gordon Rosewater seems like someone Jack Nicholson would play, but I could also see Robin Williams doing it with a deeper, more demanding voice.

Dorthy. Hmmm. Dorthy, Dorthy, Dorthy. That's a little tough, but, and please don't kill me for all the mainstream names, but Drew Barrymore seems to match her physically and in voice. She'd have to have a dramatic change in her acting style entirely, but it could be a good portrayal if she could pull it off.

Perhaps only because there are very few actors and actresses flowing in my head right now, but after seeing him on X-files, I really think that Bruce Campbell could work Schwartzwald. Mostly because of his voice and admiration of him, but I could really see him as such a troubled, political character. Also, I wanna see him shouting and making crazy statements like conspiracy theorist (it's the American Dream).

Those were actually pretty good choices, but for the sake of argument I'm going to have to change it.

Roger Smith: I could actually see this part going to someone like Clive Owen. He's a great actor and I don't think he'll have a problem capturing Roger's cool.(because Clive is as cool as they come)

Gordon Rosewater: Mickey Rourke. It's Mickey Rourke 'nuff said.

Dorothy: I don't know she always seemed like Winona Ryder to me. I mean Winona Ryder is like permanetly in puberty (she's so small) and despite what people think she is a great actress. If no Winona then maybe then maybe... dare I say it... Lindsey Lohan. *dodges flying toaster* Just hear me out. Lindsey may not be the most graceful starlet, but she is looking to flex her acting chops and this could be a way.

Schwartzwald: I just can't think of anyone better than Bruce! Bravo!

Angel: Nicole Kidman, I know all my choices are very old. But Nicole can be any age she wants (over 23). Nicole just seems like she could draw out Angel's cool-headed spy side. Then immediately switch to her vulnerable I'm-human-too side.

There're three things I refuse to tolerate: cowardice, bad haircuts, and millitary insurrection

IMHO, I think Natalie Portman would be the perfect Dorothy for that film.
