I liked the storyline and plot. My biggest complaint was the dialogue, which oftentimes was downright abysmal.

somebody: says something about the current situation
somebody else: WHAT'S THAT??!? or WHAT'S THAT MEAN??!? or something along those lines.

Otto: This is intense!
Miller: The life of a repo man is always intense.

I don't recall any dialogue like that...

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the worst anime show ever created.

AS is running it again starting tonight. Watch and listen.

I really like this anime, and I'm not really into anime, but I'd have to agree that it has faults that could be easily corrected.

The dialogue seems as if something is being lost in translation as it has a stop.start format. It's not like dialogue, it's more like dictation.

I think the song at the end is not that great, but it's the right style of music. When the show starts, you wanna be pumped to see Big O. As the story progresses you get sucked into the brooding nature and finally you have an nice piano based song.

If they were to go back and re-dub the show with tweaks, it'd be way better.

I used to watch this show and try to like hide it, because i was embarassed that i REALLy enjoyed anime until one day i referenced something from it without mentioning the title and one of my friends is all like "oh, like from Big O." and i was so suprised i wasn't the only person watching it that i ended up talking ro him about it and how awesome it is for like 2 hours, now we are both openly huge fans of the show.
