Am I the only one?

Am I the only one here who thinks this anime is absoloutely, terribly boring?

I love Action and own a bunch of Action movies. I heard from many people on this board that "The Big O" is a very good anime. I saw its rating on IMDB and decided to maybe check it out. I just finished watching it this afternoon and found it to be slow-paced, boring and boring and boring.

There was too much giant robot-fighting action. And I think this anime is too much like Independence Day of 1996. I was never impressed with anything like this because I prefer anime with magical girls fighting them or maybe Pokémon.

I just can't understand why in the name of justice this could be rated so high. I gave it a 1/10, but if IMDB ever allowed users to rate it negative, I'd give it a 0.1/10. One of my friends who watched this hated it as well. I don't know, I'm just ranting I guess because it was a horrible let-down, and I never seen an anime as bad as this since Pokémon 4ever. Call me a troll if you want.
